HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Ø Volunteering

Ø Research and Rehabilitation Center

Our priority is to find a house or establishment by donation, with access to Ensenada de La Paz, where we can rescue, heal, rehabilitate and release marine fauna. This is our main concern, because in La Paz we have a lot of stranding cetaceans and most of them are injured and require medical assistance, which can not be provided without a place to treat them.

Ø Donations:

At this moment AICMMARH accepts and needs physical and financial donations to keep going forward towards our objectives.

GOALS

To stimulate the development of scientific knowledge of marine mammals and their ecosystems in Mexico.

To promote and participate in scientific, technological and educational projects in marine mammals.

Participate in the creation of appropriate management plans to establish critical habitats for marine mammals.

To raise public awareness through environmental education about the challenges of marine mammals and their habitats.

To work as a marine wildlife health and conservation center.

To organize, coordinate and participate with relevant government institutions and/or civic groups in the rescue, healing, rehabilitation and release of marine fauna.

To co-ordinate with the appropriate Mexican authorities for the reintroduction of marine wildlife species to their natural habitat.

Participate in the attention of marine mammal´s stranding and scientific sample collect for research and conservation by the Mexican authorities permission
